Javier Muñoz Najera a.k.a LeJav holds a degree in Graphic Communication Design by UAM Xochimilco. His main field of work is cover book artwork. He divides his career as cover book artist for several independent publishing houses (Editorial Praxis, mainly), as an illustrator and as a freelance graphic designer.
Most of his work is developed through a combination of ink/pen drawings and digital media. In the field of illustration, has contributed to mexican magazines such as “El puro cuento”, “Tinta Seca”, “Lenguaraz”, “Replicante” and the magazine “Interpretextos” the University of Colima (which also completely designed from 2008 to 2011).
He channels his interest in literature remaining as a member of the editorial board of the mexico based literary magazine “El puro cuento”. He currently resides in Mexico City.
